    Requirements for Slovenian visa (issued in representation)

    Information to the attention of applicants for Slovenian Schengen Visa.

    This is a résumé of the requirements to obtain visas to Slovenia (in representation by the Embassy of Belgium in Manila)

     

    The requirements hereafter are to be added to the basic requirements for a visa application (handling fee, visa application form, passport, passport pictures etc…) similar to any visa application to Belgium.

     

    These guidelines are given by the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Belgium cannot accept responsibility in case of erroneous information.

     

    Personal appearance with appointment at

     

          1 909 1014545 (PLDT only through landline or SMART mobile phone)
    1 903 1014545 (Bayantel only through landline)
    1 900 1014545 (Globe through landline and GLOBE mobile phone)

     

    Private visit (friend, relative…)

     

    For this kind of visit, applicants are required to present:

     

    • Guarantee letter from citizen of the Republic of Slovenia or foreign citizen with permanent resident permit (letter is  verified at Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia)
    • Medical Travel insurance
    • Other documents such as evidence of employment or schooling,
    • documents of personal finance status (for last three months),
    • evidence that applicant is not criminally convicted,
    • documents from registrar office (if applicant is relative of the person that is guarantee), 
    • Documents of the resident status of applicant, return ticket, etc.

    Business visit (conferences, visit for purpose of business cooperation….)

     

    For this kind of visit, applicants are also required to

     

    • Present guarantee letter (but in these cases from business companies.

    Other documentations are:

     

    • evidence from register of companies
    • evidence of employment
    • evidence of finance status for last three months
    • documents of the resident status of applicant
    • return ticket
    • evidence that applicant is not criminal convicted
    • evidence for past cooperation with Slovenian company, etc.

    For tourist visit

     

    Applicant must present all the documentation for private visit and the tourist voucher from Slovenian travel Agency which is the substitute for guarantee letter.

     

    Other

     

    Aliens under Slovenian law in force directly have to apply for the residence permit at the nearest Slovenian Embassy (for the Philippines the nearest Slovenian Embassy is located in Beijing China)

    In Schengen visa representation, the country that is representing other countries has full authority to interview the applicant, demand the documentations and to approve visas. 

     

    Only Slovenian representations abroad are authorized to issue a National visa (Visa D).

     

    We also advice Slovenian citizens who are writing the guarantee letters that they must first check at representing Embassies, in which language the documentation should be written in.
