Demonstrations in Bangkok

The political situation in Thailand is currently tense. Large anti-government demonstrations are announced in Bangkok from 12-14 March. Protests can also take place in other parts of the country (in the North and the North-East). Fellow citizens should be aware that protests can suddenly and unexpectedly degenerate. We ask fellow citizen to exercise increased vigilance, especially around government and army buildings and around the Sanam Luang Square. We recommend to avoid protest sites and to follow closely the news (including this website).
