After « Rosetta » in 1999, the Belgian brothers Luc and Jean-Pierre Dardenne again walked away with the “Palme d’or” at the recent Cannes Film Festival. This time the honour went to their film “L’enfant”. And good fortune has it that “Le fils”, yet another masterpiece of the gifted Dardenne brothers, can be seen on screens in Thailand during the next 4 weeks, as it will be shown in Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Phuket during the EU Film Festival. A perfect opportunity to get to know the oeuvre of these two praised Belgian movie directors who developed into perfection the gift of telling the gripping life stories of the “common man”.

The Thai Press also paid a lot of attention to the Belgian brothers during the past weeks.
