比利时法兰德斯大区一直积极致力于把自己先进的环保和节能技术推广到中国。这次我们组织的20人的代表团囊括了相关的研究机构和政府部门，并希望能够和中国的相关机构建立联系。该代表团是由法兰德斯投资贸易局局长Koen Allaert先生带队，法兰德斯中国商会，比利时技术企业联盟和法兰德斯技术研究院赞助了该代表团的出访。此行，代表团将要拜访住房和城乡建设部，环保部。
此次，我们还将要参加在大连举行的环保展，并举办以“来自欧洲中心的环境能源高科技”为题的研讨会。
展会后，代表团将继续访问沈阳，并考察由法兰德斯技术研究院和沈阳市环保局共同开展的空气质量监测的项目。在青岛，我们也将和青岛市环保局共同举办环保研讨会。
比利时法兰德斯大区致力于和中国分享其在环保问题上的经验，因为我们也曾面临和当今中国类似的环境问题：法兰德斯大区是一个人口稠密工业发达的地区，在过去的几十年里，通过不断的努力，法兰德斯大区已经在环保和节能领域取得了宝贵的经验和技术。

The Flanders region of Belgium is actively promoting its environmental and energy efficiency technologies in China. Flanders Investment and Trade, the trade promotion agency of the Government of Flanders, is bringing a 20-person delegation of companies, research institutes and government departments to China to establish contacts with local companies and authorities in the field of environmental protection and energy efficiency. The delegation headed by Mr Koen Allaert, Director-General of Flanders Investment and Trade, will have meetings with the Ministry of Housing and Urban/Rural Development, and the Ministry of Environmental Protection in Beijing. The Flanders-China Chamber of Commerce, Agoria, and VITO are co-organizing the delegation.
Flanders Investment and Trade is participating in the Dalian International Environment Protection Fair with a dedicated booth, and a seminar titled “Environmental technology from the heart of Europe, Flanders, Belgium”.
After visiting the fair, the delegation will continue to Shenyang to visit local environmental authorities, as well as a joint air quality monitoring project by VITO and Shenyang-EPB. In Qingdao the delegation will have another seminar with the local environmental authorities.
The Flanders region of Belgium aims to share its experience in dealing with environmental problems similar to today’s China: Flanders-Belgium is a heavily industrialized region with a dense population and heavy traffic, and over the last decades, driven by environmental policies on the regional and European levels, Flanders has developed valuable know-how and technology for environmental protection and energy efficiency.
