Advice to Belgian citizens residing in Egypt

In the current political circumstances, the Belgian Embassy in Cairo recommends its citizens to keep a distance from all kinds of demonstrations or crowd gatherings and stay updated on the security situation.

This page is for all Belgians in Egypt: those officially registered in the consular register of this post, those on temporary transit, and those staying in Egypt as a tourist!

You will find:

- The link to the special page, which is updated when an emergency arises and is particularly useful in case of a serious crisis.

Visa
The visa section is open on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9 till 10.30 am. Please make an appointment through the visa call centre on the number 090070678 or on the mobile Vodaphone number 2101. The visa call centre can only be reached from Egypt. For more information regarding the documents to be submitted, please consult the information sheet:
