The Belgian Embassies and consulates abroad are qualified to draw up notary acts (powers of attorney, marriage contracts between Belgians or a Belgian man and a foreign woman…) for Belgian nationals, residing in the jurisdiction or passage, as well as for foreign nationals who have a bond with Belgium. Fees are perceived on this occasion.

The notary act made in the Belgian diplomatic posts are always drawn up on the basis of a complete project carried out by a Belgian notary.
