Karel De Gucht, the Foreign Minister of Belgium, was in Israel on March 21st-22nd 2007, in the framework of a one week trip to the Middle East. He met with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and with Foreign Minister Tsipi Livni,as well as other personalities. He also met with members of the "Parents' Circle - Israeli Palestinian Bereaved Families for Peace" and with the parents of the abducted soldiers.
