Belgian Days 2011

 

From 14th till 25th November, the Belgian Business Chamber organizes the Belgian Days, under the Honorary Patronage of the Ambassador of Belgium in Poland, Raoul Delcorde.  As every year, this undertaking will be an excellent opportunity for visitors to meet business people and establish new contacts in a splendid atmosphere as well as to learn about Belgium and its culture.

 

This year the Belgian Days will take place in Warsaw, Poznań and Gdansk.  They will include events with both cultural and business dimension, like a business mixer, a seminar on the benefits of innovation in business, a Mussels & Frites evening, a Fashion-Contact Day, a culinary workshop, a Belgian film evening and a participation in the Poleko Fair.  More information on the BBC website.

 

Hanna-Gronkiewicz-Waltz has been awarded the grade of Commander in the Order of the Crown

On Wednesday 28 October, Raoul Delcorde, Ambassador of Belgium to Poland has awarded Mrs. Hanna-Gronkiewicz-Waltz, Mayor of Warsaw, the grade of Commander in the Order of the Crown.  The Ceremony was held at the Embassy of Belgium in Warsaw.

Bieg Konstytucji, 3 May 2011 – Honorary patronage of the Embassy of Belgium

The “Bieg Konstytucji” Race takes place on the 3d of May in Warsaw and commemorates the anniversary of the Polish Constitution, the first European constitution, adopted on the 3d May 1791. The French Constitution (3 September 1791) and the Belgian Constitution (7 February 1831) are respectively the second and the third European constitutions. In this capacity, the Embassy of France and the Embassy of Belgium have given their honorary patronage to “Bieg Konstytucji”.
